SAC also implements a women's phone-in hotline and offers free HIV and Syphilis testing services. HealthHuman ServicesEstablished as Hong Kong's first sexual violence crisis centre in 2000, RainLily provides one-stop intervention support to female victim-survivors above the age of 14 around the clock. Support services include pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infections screening and treatment, forensic medical examination, psychological support and judicial procedures support (e.g. statement-takin, court hearing), etc. Every year, RainLily provides in-depth support to over 300 victim-survivors and handles over 2,000 requests for assistance. RainLily's work is only possible because of the trust of survivors. With bravery and perseverance, survivors share their experience to raise public awareness of sexual violence and speak up for the rights of other survivors in hope that no one will experience sexual violence again in our communities. Though some may associate survivors of sexual violence with petals broken and ravaged by a storm, the delicate rain lily is able to brave a summer torrent, and stand strong in the tranquil breeze and gentle light that breaks forth after the storm.
