It provides subsidies to grassroots people in financial difficulties who may not be able to afford the price of products, and those in need, so that they can lead a normal life. Applicants need to be referred by social workers, fill in the application form together with the required supporting documents, and pass the internal audit of the foundation.

Human ServicesPublic and Societal Benefit本堂是香港「基督教中國佈道會」的會員堂會之一。「中國佈道會」是中國名佈道家計志文牧師於1947年於上海創立。 在1987年香港迦南堂約二十位信徒被差往沙田植堂,早期於李兆康長老家中聚會,於1988年4月轉往大圍田心村建立教會。有見區內雙職父母及其在學子女極需要高質素的課餘託管服務需要,會眾亦同心領受「服侍鄰舍,見證基督」的異象,故積極探討為區內學童提供服務的可能性。 蒙神恩典,本堂獲得房屋署批准以社區服務形式,租用新翠邨新明樓現址開辦學生發展中心,並獲得白普理基金慷慨贊助全數約一百三十萬元的開辦費。最後,中心於1991年1月正式啟用,命名為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂白普理學生發展中心」,迄今服務社區接近三十年。 1994年7月,教會自立為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂」。 本堂開辦的「白普理學生發展中心」屬於非政府資助的機構,根據《稅務條例》第88條已獲豁免繳稅的慈善團體。1997年更成為公益金會員機構,並於2000年成為香港社會服務聯會會員。 我們的使命 藉著神的話語和大能,在本港建立一間結合敬拜、教導、牧養、門訓、宣教五方面平衡發展及健康而強壯的教會。

EducationREACH is the charity arm of Story Jungle. Founded in 2002, Story Jungle is a premier English learning centre, specialising in reading, writing and speaking. We firmly believe literacy and the cultivation of reading are the most sustainable and impactful means in maximising life opportunities for underserved children in Hong Kong. We believe underserved children equally deserve the right to premium English reading programmes. Access to well-trained teachers and top-quality, tailored curriculum that meets this group’s needs are essential to helping them reach the starting line. The objective of the project is to improve English proficiencies of Kindergarten 3 students from underserved families in Hong Kong in order to better prepared them for entering Primary 1. 1. We partner with NGOs, kindergartens and other charity organisations to help identify and screen target beneficiaries. 2. Each project consists of a minimum of a 20-week long English Programme conducted online on a weekly basis by the Project’s full time English teacher. 3. Education curriculum, trainings, on-going class monitoring, and parents’ workshops are offered by Story Jungle Education Center to ensure the quality of the programme. 4. Pre and post programme assessments are conducted for impact measurements and to monitor continuous improvements.

It is a charitable foundation committed to public services. Donations are tax deductible under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance with verification from Inland Revenue Department. CCFL focuses its work on current welfare matters and aims to serve the society at large through contemporary ideologies as well as through advancing social resources. It has no political, religious, race, or nationality affiliations. CCFL believes the importance of “nurturing the young, providing education, supporting the elderly, and relieving the distressed.” It strives to care for the disadvantaged, initiate educational programs for children and teenagers, and offer assistance to the lone elderly. CCFL mobilizes the public to raise awareness about the contemporary needs of disadvantaged communities, and furthermore reallocate charitable resources to serve those in need. With its humanitarian effort, CCFL makes sure that resources in the society are effectively distributed and utilized, and ultimately contributes to building a more peaceful society as well as promoting Chinese culture. CCFL values the importance of financial transparency and “zero administrative cost”. We strive to distribute the different types of donations that we receive to those in need as directly and uncompromised as possible. To achieve CCFL’s goal of “zero administrative cost,” our Honorary Permanent President has taken up the responsibility of all administrative expenses.
