Much of our work involving communities that border national nature preserves is endorsed by Chinese president, Hu Jintao. We envision a world where humans and nature co-exist with one another in harmony, and with balance between development and protection. Future Generations China focuses on fragile ecosystems that are of great ecological significance.

本堂是香港「基督教中國佈道會」的會員堂會之一。「中國佈道會」是中國名佈道家計志文牧師於1947年於上海創立。 在1987年香港迦南堂約二十位信徒被差往沙田植堂，早期於李兆康長老家中聚會，於1988年4月轉往大圍田心村建立教會。有見區內雙職父母及其在學子女極需要高質素的課餘託管服務需要，會眾亦同心領受「服侍鄰舍，見證基督」的異象，故積極探討為區內學童提供服務的可能性。 蒙神恩典，本堂獲得房屋署批准以社區服務形式，租用新翠邨新明樓現址開辦學生發展中心，並獲得白普理基金慷慨贊助全數約一百三十萬元的開辦費。最後，中心於1991年1月正式啟用，命名為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂白普理學生發展中心」，迄今服務社區接近三十年。 1994年7月，教會自立為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂」。 本堂開辦的「白普理學生發展中心」屬於非政府資助的機構，根據《稅務條例》第88條已獲豁免繳稅的慈善團體。1997年更成為公益金會員機構，並於2000年成為香港社會服務聯會會員。 我們的使命 藉著神的話語和大能，在本港建立一間結合敬拜、教導、牧養、門訓、宣教五方面平衡發展及健康而強壯的教會。

基督教中國佈道會聖道堂，是由陳開清長老、計志文牧師及沈保羅牧師等聖徒，於一九六四年創立的。當年他們有感於尖沙咀區沒有國語教會，因而靠着神的恩，租用尖沙咀柯士甸道正安大廈四樓，開荒建立本堂。首次主日祟拜聚會於一九六四年四月十九日。 教會初期的牧者是沈保羅牧師，後來又有孫約翰牧師、貝福音牧師、唐約翰牧師等牧者先後在本堂牧養事奉，陳開清長老亦常常參予講臺及查經講道的事奉，期間教會蒙恩發展。 後來傅大衛牧師於一九七四年七月加入了聖道堂事奉。期間陳開清長老於一九七八年安息主懷，陳長老回天家之前，一直關心教會未有自置的物業，經常四出奔跑，尋找合適的堂址。他安息主懷後，其他執事終於為教會物色到尖沙咀金巴利道作為堂所，即現時堂址。 到了一九九八年九月，藉着全教會弟兄姊妹同心合意的祈禱仰望和盡力奉獻，本堂奇妙地與基督教興學會合作興辦了一間中學，就是位於大埔太和邨的迦密聖道中學，更於十一月在校園內開設了分堂，也就是迦密聖道堂。 多年來，神帶領不同的牧者在兩堂會服事，帶領教會，領人歸主，發展堂會。

早在19世紀末葉，英國差會—–倫敦傳道會已派宣教士來華傳道。1899年宣教士祈理信牧師和師母抵達廣州，於上西關西華路萬善里(後以此命名萬善堂)創立佈道所，先後有譚秉剛先生、梁偉持先生負責堂務。 不久地方不敷應用，遂於蘆荻西巷50號的舊庵堂園地，重新改建為禮拜堂，定名為中華基督教會萬善堂。1924年聖誕節舉行獻堂禮，1935年原職接生護士，其後獻身全職事奉的余博文姐妹擔任萬善堂女傳道一職，後由李胡秀珍姊妹接任。 31年李啟榮牧師被推舉出任中華基督教會東江區區牧，也是該會廣東協會東江區宗教教育幹事。萬善堂既屬於中華基督教會，李牧師須牧養萬善堂信徒。 33年春季李牧師就任堂牧，全心牧養萬善堂，他擅長全人關顧，既及靈魂，也及身體，受惠者眾，自此萬善堂日漸興旺，增長迅速。不但主日崇拜人數擠擁，而且開辦中小學及幼稚園、童光院(孤兒院)、即使在抗日年間，環境艱難，仍不斷贈醫藥、施粥飯、興學校、澤孤兒。 抗戰勝利，以至大陸政權易手，李牧師伉儷南來香港，萬善堂在廣州的聖工遂完成歷史責任，有待重現光彩。

本會始於1888年，其時福音工作伊始，未為教會訂名，首所堂會就以所在地命名為「瑞仁大街禮拜堂」。其後堂會數目增多，於三十年後，即在1918年，改名為「美瑞丹公理會」（美即美國、瑞即瑞典、而丹即丹麥）。其時，會務仍是由美國母會中國區差會主理。 及至1920年，首次正式由中西代表合組董事會，稱為「美瑞丹教會中西董事聯合會」。從此，組織遂繼續發展。 1931年，中西同工均有感，要和應母會「中國」之本位，及表達本會廣傳福音之一貫精神與目標，故決定將名稱改訂為「中國基督教播道會」，而聯合的機構則稱為「中國基督教播道會總會」。 至1949年，本會進入一個新的時期。粵省各支堂因環境因素，宣告與本會「脫離關係」，而本會總部亦於此期遷來香港。在港發展期間，本會按香港法例於1957年註冊，由各堂會另派代表組織「香港基督教播道會聯會」。此後，該組織就代表本會辦理一切有關法律及須由「法定代表」處理的工作。

Evangelical Free Church of China - Kong Fok Church is one of the Evangelical Free Churches in Hong Kong. Kong Fok Church was founded in 1984 with a mission to reach out and serve the community in Central, the main business district of Hong Kong. Since 2014, we have adopted a new mission of "Growing the Kingdom of God on Earth through sharing the gospel, making disciples, and serving the community". We have started a Mandarin congregation and an English congregation in August and October of 2016, respectively.
