The ARETE, a non-government think tank, was founded by a group of passionate people who have a genuine care and concern on the long-term development of Hong Kong. The think tank aims to consolidate power from society and is committed to explore the future development of Hong Kong and nurture talents of all kinds with a view to promoting the sustainability of Hong Kong from an innovative perspective. Missions and Values 1. From an independent and objective point of view, in respect of important social, political and economic issues and public policies, formulate strategic and targeted recommendations for the HKSAR Government and the community; 2. Provide a platform for a consortium of civic leaders to suggest policies on long-term development of Hong Kong; 3. Disseminate research results to make the general public aware of public policies from various perspectives and to improve civic quality; 4. Cultivate talents of all kinds so as to enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong; 5. Establish partnerships with mainland and overseas research institutions, experts and civic leaders, to facilitate academic exchanges.

The main goal of the Theatre-in-Education (TIE) produced by our group is to enable students to "learn" through theater experience, such as social, historical and political issues, and encourage students to directly play through role-playing Participate in the show, not just sit and be an ordinary audience. The Guild of St. Luke, St. Cosmas and St. Damian Hong Kong (香港天主教醫生協會) was founded in 1953 as a result of a desire on the part of local Catholic Medical practitioners (Hong Kong Catholic Doctors) and dentists to have a group to which they could relate. We aim at facilitating the intercourse between Catholic members of the medical profession of Hong Kong with a view to the study and discussion of bioethical issues, and of upholding the principles of Catholic morality. We discuss our problems that we face in daily practice with the intention of deciding them along the lines of our faith. The importance of medical ethics is always highlighted in catholic doctors. Meetings and seminars are organized for members and public to promote their awareness and to clarify misconceptions. Comments will be submitted to state our stand in response to the consultation papers on bioethics-related issues from the Government.

自1905年開始，位於中國華中地區(包括河南、湖北、湖南、陝西四省)的豫中總會，其所屬美國奧古斯坦納差會，委派易德文夫婦來華，在河南中部開始傳福音工作。直至1949年為止，該會已有受洗信徒七千多人。 記敘以上一段事蹟，為要帶出永生堂的成立和發展與它們有著一定的歷史淵源。以下便是永生堂歷年的大事簡記，盼望能閱讀本文的朋友，對這個上帝的家－永生堂有一概略的認識和了解。 1952 : 朱蒙恩師母於李鄭屋村傳福音，堂會名稱為「基督教香港信義會李鄭屋村禮 　 　 　拜堂」。 1953 : 屈金山長老任職傳道及平民識字班校長。 1956 : 何榮輝長老任職傳道。 1957 : 本堂申辦了天台小學。 1959 : 香港信義會總會接納本堂成為香港信義會轄下之會員堂會。 1962 : 本堂改名為「永生堂」。 1963 : 聘請高潔謙教士為女傳道。 1965 : 遷堂至保安道。 1967 : 王靜濤教師按立為牧師。 1968 : 推行自立自養計劃。 1974 : 天台小學停辦。 1976 : 搬入新堂址 : 醫局街 128-132 號金輝樓四樓聚會。（即現址） 1977 : 文德惠牧師任本堂助理牧師。 1986 : 聘請本堂實習神學生柯尊輝為本堂教師。 1987 : 王靜濤牧師榮休。 1989 : 柯尊輝教師被按立為牧師。 1993 : 王靜濤牧師主懷安息。 2001 : 柯尊輝牧師辭職，白德生牧師為暫代牧師牧養本堂。 2004 : 聘請鄧振成先生為本堂教師。 2006 : 鄧振成教師辭職。 2007 : 林德皓牧師擔任本堂聖禮牧師。 2008 : 馬漢欽牧師擔任本堂聖禮牧師。同年吳玉芬教師到任。 2011 : 吳玉芬教師按立為牧師，聘請李家強先生為本堂教師。 2012 : 本堂 60 週年堂慶。
