Hong Kong Seagull Scholarship was established by Mr. Lo Yuk Tong, Executive Advisor of The Toys Manufacturers' Association of HK. His idea originated during a visit to Gansu Hope School project activities in 1998.During his time there he heard that a university student had fainted in class and he learned that she had been selling her blood in order to pay for her studies. This touched Mr. Lo’s heart and on his return to Hong Kong he was determined he would do something to help students in similar situations. He set up “Seagulls” which is a voluntary organization to collect funds to provide grants for impoverished students in China to complete their studies and prepare them for a worthwhile place in society. Purpose: The aim of the "Seagull" group is intended to motivate students in poor areas to be like the seagulls bird, fearless with a strong spirit and constantly striving for ideals. Together with this the passing through of love for students with the action called "little candles" which brings warmth and light. The assisted student with ability can enjoy helping others by passing on the candlelight, a flame burning with flourishing spirit forever, so that more students can complete their studies.

After more than 50 years of hard work, we have five service units under the Asia Women's League Limited. There are three care and attention homes and two elderly activity centers. Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) deeply believes the parent-child relationship is very important to children's development and mental health. Through a group format, CPRT allows parents to learn the theory and skills of Child Centered Play Therapy in a mutually supportive atmosphere. In a 30-minute "special playtime" with their children at home each week, parents learn to respond empathically to children's emotions and to set limits for children's inappropriate behavior, thereby enhancing their children's self-discipline, self-confidence and self-image. Vision Teachers, nurses and first-responders all required training, but parents who affect their children's life most often lack training. They just follow in the footsteps of the previous generation or their peers. Their parenting may have an adverse impact on their children. Our ultimate goal and mission are to have every parent in Hong Kong with children between the ages of 2 to 10 receive training on "Parent-Child Relation Therapy", just like parents of newborn learn to breastfeed, bathe and change diapers. Changes in parents can affect a child's life. We especially want to support families from the grassroots, who may have more struggles and yet fewer resources in the midst of their difficulties.

鍾錫熙長洲安老院，成立於一九六九年。當時長洲鄉事委員會有感於安老工作，在離島前未之見，遂倡議發起設立安老院於長洲，並組織籌委會專責推動。首先得到鍾長有先生秉承其令先翁遺志，慨捐興建經費八萬餘元，本院籌委為紀念他的先翁，於是定名為鍾錫熙長洲安老院。並蒙華人廟宇委員會劃撥長洲北社天后廟側的地段為院址，復蒙南約理民府勷助，興建工程便迅速展開。隨又蒙社會福利署協助，撥付彩票基金三萬二千五百餘元以供設備之資，工程餘下不足之數，則由各界熱心人仕及籌委會主席團暨各委員捐集完成。迨一九八四年，甲子年第十五屆董事總理會﹐有感於時代之進步和需要，使能為長者竭誠服務，於是改組為有限公司並向政府申請註冊，正式成為非牟利服務團體。 我們的願景 我們本著「老者安之」的信念，致力促使安老服務力臻完善 積極回應社會的需要和轉變，成為卓越的安老服務機構。 我們的使命 我們設立各類型院舍及中心，提供不牟利服務。 實行和推廣各項社會福利及慈善工作，並以適切及優質的服務， 使長者得到適常的身心照顧及得到尊車。
