Fountain of Love and Life (FLL) — global Chinese Catholic media evangelization ministries — aims to use different media (video, audio, music, publications) to spread the Gospel message through different channels. Besides media productions, FLL also promotes an evangelization movement. Objectives: 1. To proclaim, using different media, the good news of salvation to the global Chinese communities, transforming human culture through the Gospel and promoting the “culture of life”; 2. To promote evangelization by providing effective platforms and resources for individuals and groups; 3. To empower the laity to carry out their mission and achieve Christian leadership by providing systematic training, and to build faith communities that focus on evangelization; 4. To partner and collaborate with different Catholic groups/ministries, creating synergy for the promotion of evangelization.

Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong, The

Formerly known as “Suicide Prevention Society”, The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong was founded by Mr. H.K. To in July, 1960. The name of the organisation was later changed to “The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong” in October, 1976, without religious stance, we follow the generosity and benevolence of the Good Samaritan in the Bible who always stretched forth a helping hand to the distressed and helpless. Through the giving of support and rendering emotional counselling to those in need, we help them to help themselves. Mission: To bring out the benevolence in human nature and with love, patience and compassion, nurture the spirit of mutual aid, mutual support and mutual affection. To befriend, on humanitarian grounds, people who are facing difficulties or are lonely and depressed, by helping them to regain confidence in life. To publicise and promote the spirit of our service in the community through talks, seminars, research and other means of community service. To help in the South East Asia and neighboring areas to set up organisations with a nature and mission similar to ours.

Better Hong Kong Foundation, The

The Better Hong Kong Foundation is a privately-funded, non-profit making organisation and has no political affiliation. It was formed by influential Hong Kong business and community leaders in 1995 to build greater international understanding between East and West by facilitating communications between Hong Kong, China and the global community. The Foundation’s principal objective is to help build a better Hong Kong. To this end, the Foundation regularly works with local and international academic institutions and research institutes in conducting surveys and studies, and in organising forums and conferences. The results of these allow us to make informed proposals and assist in the long-term development of Hong Kong. Additionally, the Foundation organises frequent high-level delegation visits to overseas countries to update the international community on the latest developments in Hong Kong affairs, and to encourage exchanges between leaders in Hong Kong, China and the West. The Foundation also receives overseas delegations and visiting journalists who are here to learn more about China and Hong Kong first hand.
