Religion Related本會以高舉基督、廣傳福音、建立教會、造就信徒、擴展靈工、服務人群,以達榮神益人之目的為宗旨。 中國基督徒傳道會於1953年3月由創辦人宋彼得牧師創立,期望由一群中國基督徒以自立、自養、自傳方式組成的教會。 總會初期於筲箕灣成立西大堂,中心堂於1966年4月9日成立(初期名為九龍中心堂),以銀行按揭方式購置堂址,位於九龍旺角彌敦道607號新興大厦303室,開展聖工。在新界小欖村有一所福音堂,其後亦將牛頭角中基佈道所正式成為中基堂,在不同區域發展。 60至70年代香港人口急速增長,宋牧師同期開辨永生醫務院,為貧苦大眾提供廉價醫療服務,也開辦全港首創流動醫療福音車隊,效法主耶穌基督昔日到各處傳道醫病,高峰時期有十部醫療車,每日到港九新界造福人群,一邊醫病,一邊傳揚福音。 宋牧師於本堂成立初期息勞歸主,宋林覺今師母續任監督,除了主日崇拜外,每週有主日學、青少年團契,詩班員練習、慕道班、信徒造就班、探訪工作、家庭聚會、週三晚祈禱會,同工祈禱會及定期佈道會等,蒙神恩待信徒人數逐漸增加。 80年代旺角區内環境改變,色情場所林立,本堂事工正值興旺時期,青少年團契出席人數眾多,年輕姊妹出入感到尴尬,上落電梯時需要結伴或有弟兄陪伴,加上地方不敷應用,急需另覓新堂,會友一致同意進行擴堂,經歴主的恩典,於1992年12月6日搬往煙廠街興發商業大廈101室,擴展主的國度。 千禧年代本堂事工不斷發展,開辦學生功輔班,由專職導師負責,吸引區內青少年學生到教會認識福音,並設立兒童崇拜,教會使用空間漸見緊絀,逐購置同一大厦401室,作為副堂。 本堂回應主的大使命,由2014年起支持泰北阿卡族福音事工,並每年舉辦短宣到泰國清萊探訪,參加人數逐年增加,2016年約有30人出發,受到當地事工的啟發,於2018年10月開辦咖啡室福音事工,將副堂401室改造為咖啡室,名為良亭雅敍(Pavilion Cafe),藉此接觸人群廣傳福音,亦開放空間給予主內團體使用,榮耀主名。

Religion Related本教會開始於一九三八年,初時聚會借九龍城打鼓嶺道伯特利地方舉行,後來遷士他令道浸信會。光復時則假太子道303號地下吳清池先生(即吳毓輝前主席令尊)府上,不久又再遷士他令道浸信會聚會。 主日講道初時由主內弟兄姊妹輪流負責,及蒙伯特利教會牧師及各教會牧師幫助,主理講道,後來本會聘請陳應希先生為第一任傳道,第二任傳道為金腓力先生。一九四七年蒙神安排,得聘簡賜福先生為第三任傳道,並於一九五三年三月一日按立簡賜福先生為本會牧師。 一九四九年本會先賢前輩感於必須要有自己的禮拜堂及學校,所以發起籌建禮拜堂及學校運動,成立了九龍閩南中華基督教會籌建委員會,並於一九五四年向政府正式註冊為法團,展開籌募建堂、建校運動,獲海內外主內弟兄姊妹及美國歸正教會支持及奉獻,並蒙政府批贈天光道一幅三萬餘尺地皮為建堂,建校之用,感謝上帝,禮拜堂終於一九五八年在天光道舉行動土禮,一九五九年舉行獻堂禮。

Arts and Culture and HumanitiesHuman ServicesWhile developing the art of traditional Cantonese Opera and protecting the rights and welfare of fellow performers, CAAHK also aims at providing care to the old and weak, assisting the widowed and orphaned, performing ceremonies to pay tributes to the Chinese saints and ancestors, and nurturing new talents. Over the past 50 years, CAAHK has not only looking after the welfare of its members, but also actively participating in charity events for the community. Whenever there were huge disasters that struck Hong Kong, China of Asia, the CAAHK would immediately organize charity performances to raise funds and support those who were affected, events such as Love for Victims by CAAHK (八和愛心獻災民), Sending Warmth to Taiwan by CAAHK (八和送暖到台灣), Love for South Asia by CAAHK (八和愛心獻南亞), and Together CAAHK Warms Up Sichuan (八和同心暖四川) were held. On 17 December 2008, the CAAHK was registered as a charity organization. Committed to establishing and protecting the survival mechanism of Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong, CAAHK aims to strengthen the inheritance system and enhance the communication with various stakeholders in the society, thereby passing down the tradition of Cantonese Opera in a dynamic fashion.

Environment and AnimalsHealthUnder the District Administration Scheme launched since 1982, Hong Kong is divided into 18 administrative districts. The first Healthy City Project (HCP) of Hong Kong was initiated in Sai Kung District in 1997. This first-ever HCP was featured by its bottom-up approach where tremendous efforts have been made in engaging the community to promote health awareness and to make collaborative efforts in building a healthy community. A cohesive partnership infrastructure across sectors conducive to sustainable development has also been built. Over the years, more and more districts in Hong Kong joined the “Healthy Cities” movement. When the Alliance for Healthy Cities was inaugurated in 2004, Sai Kung and Kwai Tsing Districts were among the founding members. To consolidate the work of various administrative districts and to take forward the “Healthy Cities” initiative in a synergistic manner, the China Hong Kong Chapter of the AFHC was established in September 2007. The Inauguration Ceremony of the China Hong Kong Chapter cum “Healthy Cities” Forum was held on 14 September 2007 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Overseas speakers included Dr. Shigeru Omi, the then Director of the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office and academics/ experienced practitioners from Australia, South Korea, Japan, China and Macau.
