Buddhist Lodge of Laity was opened on 1 September 2005. The aim of the Centre is: 'Experience and understand life with both wisdom and faith.' Objectives: - To introduce Buddhist teachings and to promote concepts of practising Buddhist teachings to the community of Hong Kong by adopting a contemporary, knowledgeable, rational, open-minded, simple, non-theistic, non-idol and non-sectarian attitude. It strives to promote the integration of Buddhist teachings into contemporary life. The Centre regularly organises courses on meditation and Buddhism that are open to the public. People of all walks of life are welcome to attend such courses. In addition, the Centre will also invite Buddhist Masters of different schools or Buddhists scholars to give their incisive enlightenment talks on various topics of Buddhist teaching.

Yuen Long District Sports Association Limited

「元朗區體育會」之成立，遠溯至一九五八年，由當時一群熱愛體育運動的地區人士發起，旨在推動地區體育，提高社區凝聚力，為居民提供參加體育及康樂活動的機會。多年來本會一直積極推廣康樂及體育活動，並獲多個政府部門的支持及贊助，舉辦各項體育競賽，開辦各項運動培訓班，培育不少體壇精英。歷來有不少運動員由本會培訓，推薦予港隊習訓，成為香港代表隊。 由一九九二年開始，本會舉辦每兩年一屆之「元朗區體育節」，每次均邀請國內外知名體育團體及香港區體育精英參與比賽及表演，既讓運動員獲觀摩交流機會，促進技術水平；也提供各項精彩運動節目讓市民欣賞，大大提高了元朗區五十多萬居民對體育運動的興趣，達至推廣體育運動的目的。

Apart from promoting technical competence on an individual basis, the Foundation will strive to support all aspects of the Conservatory's work in advancing its EOS Orchestra Academy at Central Conservatory of Music. One of the visions of the CCOM is to place its students in major symphony orchestras around the world. This requires of CCOM's students not only exceptional technical competence but also the ability to work in collaborative environments, exercising human skills in communication and teamwork.
