PETA entities have more than 9 million members and supporters globally. PETA Asia is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. It operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way and focuses on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment business. It also works on a variety of other issues, including spaying and neutering and the killing of “pests.” PETA Asia works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns. Located in Hong Kong, PETA Asia is the base for animal-rights campaigns across Asia, a region that is home to more than one-third of the world’s population. PETA Asia may be young, but it has already created quite a stir with attention-grabbing ads and groundbreaking protests in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan, where public demonstrations are rare. PETA Asia has already won victories big and small for animals—from shutting down a roadside zoo in Vietnam to distributing more than 35,000 vegetarian starter kits in the Philippines.

本堂建基於1863年，原名灣仔福音堂，起初由英國倫敦傳道會差派來華傳教之理雅各牧師及香港第一位華人牧師何福堂設立，創辦宗旨是以辦學傳福音為首務。1932年，何心如先生被按立為灣仔堂第一任牧師。及後於1952年，灣仔堂獲立法局通過成為立法社團，可以擁有買賣物業之權利，隨即購得竹居台之地，建成新堂，屹立至今。 感謝上帝帶領，本堂於1968年在油麻地興建基道學校，並在此設立第一間分堂：基道堂。自此以後，藉著弟兄姊妹熱心地佈道，建立了現今超過二十間姊妹堂。 灣仔堂一向以植堂佈道、差傳、辦學為本堂三大治會重點。自1997年起，定下「健康的使命教會」為發展進路。一方面勇於開拓和承擔福音使命，保持著教會前進的動力；另一方面注重整全牧養關顧，針對不同年齡群體的需要，發展動員和深化信仰生命的機制。 近年不同的「MAD(Make A Difference)使命小組」相繼成立，分別有服事難民、印傭、基層學童、獨居長者等弱勢群體的，亦有以興趣如讚美操、廚藝與參與者探討人生的。我們期盼「使命小組」逐步發展成為灣仔堂牧養機制中的一環，一方面讓福音達到社會不同角落，同時亦令會眾成為一群有外向視野、關心社會的使命門徒。 如今，灣仔堂已有一百五十五年歷史。我們能維持這股信仰的活力，實有賴上帝的恩典以及弟兄姊妹各盡其職、同心事奉，使灣仔堂成為一間沒有旁觀者的教會。

The Roman Catholic Church in Hong Kong was established as a mission prefecture in 1841; became a vicariate apostolic in 1874; and a diocese in 1946. There are about 404,000 Catholics in Hong Kong served by 279 priests, 74 brother and 427 sisters. There are 52 parishes, comprising 40 churches, 32 chapels and 28 halls for religious services conducted in Cantonese; three-fifths of the parishes also provide services in English and, in some cases, Tagalog, the Filipino language. The diocese has its own administrative structure while maintaining close links with the Pope and other Catholic communities around the world with which it shares the same creed, scripture, liturgy and organisation.

For most hearing-impaired people and the elderly, a suitable hearing aid can help them overcome the obstacles caused by hearing loss, restore the ability to communicate with others, regain self-confidence, and integrate into society. The “EasyHear” Charity Fund is a government-registered charity organization. It provides subsidies to grassroots people in financial difficulties who may not be able to afford the price of products, and those in need, so that they can lead a normal life. Applicants need to be referred by social workers, fill in the application form together with the required supporting documents, and pass the internal audit of the foundation.

We combine diverse professional knowledge and innovative ideas to explore four major topics: "Life Education, Aging Planning, Care for the Ill, and Arrangements After Death." Through resource sharing and grassroots approaches, we aim to increase public awareness and community connections, change entrenched beliefs, and empower the public to have choices and decision-making power regarding their arrangements for life, aging, illness, and death.

本堂是香港「基督教中國佈道會」的會員堂會之一。「中國佈道會」是中國名佈道家計志文牧師於1947年於上海創立。 在1987年香港迦南堂約二十位信徒被差往沙田植堂，早期於李兆康長老家中聚會，於1988年4月轉往大圍田心村建立教會。有見區內雙職父母及其在學子女極需要高質素的課餘託管服務需要，會眾亦同心領受「服侍鄰舍，見證基督」的異象，故積極探討為區內學童提供服務的可能性。 蒙神恩典，本堂獲得房屋署批准以社區服務形式，租用新翠邨新明樓現址開辦學生發展中心，並獲得白普理基金慷慨贊助全數約一百三十萬元的開辦費。最後，中心於1991年1月正式啟用，命名為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂白普理學生發展中心」，迄今服務社區接近三十年。 1994年7月，教會自立為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂」。 本堂開辦的「白普理學生發展中心」屬於非政府資助的機構，根據《稅務條例》第88條已獲豁免繳稅的慈善團體。1997年更成為公益金會員機構，並於2000年成為香港社會服務聯會會員。 我們的使命 藉著神的話語和大能，在本港建立一間結合敬拜、教導、牧養、門訓、宣教五方面平衡發展及健康而強壯的教會。

Established in 1991, CEDAR Fund is an independent Christian relief and development organisation in Hong Kong. It was founded because of a tragic story heard by a founding member – the poor Haitians were suffering from hunger, they had to make mud cakes (mixing mud, water and salt, kneading them into cakes and drying them under the hot sun) to prevent from starving. He believed that Christians must fulfil the mission of loving the poor as commanded by the Lord, so he united with other Christians to establish CEDAR Fund.
