- Since its establishment in 1953, Caritas - Hong Kong has evolved from an emergency relief welfare agency to a multi-service non-governmental organization catering for the needs of people from “womb to tomb” by providing social work, education and medical services through over 270 service units from about 150 locations. With the mission of “Love in the Service of Hope”, Caritas aims at overcoming divisions among human beings and building a caring society where all people, regardless of age or disability, are valued.
