About
- Description
- Rooftop Institute was co-founded in 2016 by Hong Kong artists Yim Sui Fong, Law Yuk Mui, and Professor Frank Vigneron, Chair of the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since its establishment, Rooftop Institute has organised artist-led educational research and practice within the context of the present social conditions, as well as Hong Kong’s position in Asian history and culture. It strongly believes in the transformative power of artist-led learning, and is one of the few community-level charities in Hong Kong focusing on promoting community-based education through art.
