- To serve the society with the love of God, Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Social Service was established in 1960. Its work was mainly welfare and relief in the initial stage, the services provided included medical service, refugee service, welfare fund and educational sponsorship scheme. The emphasis of the Agency’s work has gradually changed in light of the changing needs of the society. Up till present, there are the following services: elderly services, integrated youth service, school social work, family service, counselling service, child care services, Clinical Psychological Service, Educational Psychological Service and social enterprise. To assist people to solve their problems, to actualize their potentials, to develop positive life goals and personality, to enable their self-help and mutual help abilities. It is hoped that with our services the love and mercy of God will be shared.
- For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
