- United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service (UCN) is an organisation of United Christian Medical Service. Founded in 1972 by Dr. Edward Paterson, Kwun Tong Community Health Project (predecessor organisation of UCN) provided professional, comprehensive and affordable medical service to community with “Hospital without Walls” concept. In 1997, Kwun Tong Community Health Project merged with Nethersole Community Health Service and renamed to United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service. UCN had become a comprehensive health care organisation focus for primary health care nowadays, by achieving the mission of “Leading a Health Life” covering the following key services: Preventive Medicine & Clinical Service, Chinese Medicine Service, Community Nutrition Service, Emotional Health & Counselling Service, Community Rehabilitation Service, Diagnostic Service, Social Service, and DHC Express (Kwun Tong and Tai Po).
