Description: Wu Oi Christian Centre was first started as a Teahouse by Rev. Harold Schock and Johnson Ngai in 1973. The former was an American Baptist missionary and the latter an overcomer. They held Christian meetings for drug addicts in Chuk Yuen region of Wong Tai Sin. As many needs got to be met, God led them to expand their works and set up Wu Oi (which means mutual love). It was later registered with the Government as an inter-denonminational and a non-profit making Christian organization in 1976.; For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
