HKAPA EXCEL runs continuing education programmes in performing arts, uses performing arts components as tools to provide corporate training, and organises performance-based productions for custom-made clients. Established in 2001, HKAPA EXCEL, the continuing education arm of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, is proud to be making its contribution within the sphere of the performing arts, related technical arts, and film and television. The Hong Kong Center (also known as New Horizon Buddhist Association) was founded by the 14th Shamar Rinpoche in 2002. Since its establishment, the 400 square meter center has hosted countless number of initiation ceremonies (pujas) and precious Buddhist teachings by many different high Karma Kagyu Rimpoches. This center is located in the city-proper of Hong Kong, accessible by most major public transportation. Our resident lineage teacher, Karma Chagmay Rimpoche, together with our center members will always be happy to offer their best assistance to all visitors, which makes our center a truly blessed place perfect for dharma activities and practices.

Association for Reading and Writing in Asia

The Association for Reading and Writing in Asia was registered as a society on 18 July, 2016, when a group of researchers attending a symposium on reading and writing in Korea voted to move from hosting yearly regional symposia with an audience that primarily consisted of invited participants to hosting a full-fledged conference on reading and writing, open to all academics and students interested in this topic. Some of those who were most instrumental in forming this association from the beginning were Professor Akira UNO, who is Honorary Founder of ARWA, Jeung-Ryeul CHO, Kevin CHUNG, Li-Yu HUNG, and Taeko WYDELL. Details of the development of ARWA follow. ​ Professor Akira Uno (University of Tsukuba, Japan) initiated a regional symposium in 2013 to enhance interactions among researchers and graduate students who were interested in Asian languages and to link the network of researchers who were working on learning difficulties in reading and writing of Asian languages. Four annual symposia have been held in the past four years (2013-2016). Ultimately, in 2016, we created ARWA in order to extend participants from focusing on Japanese, Korean, and Chinese more or less exclusively to focusing on multiple languages and orthographies of Asia.

泓澄仙觀原為泓澄天師壇，自2001辛巳年成立，註冊為非牟利慈善機構，道觀面積4,000呎，乃香港道教聯合會會屬道堂之一。本觀承祖天師降乩示，以「忠、廉、施、克、道」為本門弟子之綱紀。 本觀大殿供奉正一教祖張道陵天師，左旁為道教始祖軒轅黃帝天尊，右旁為道祖太上老君道德天尊，是為道教三祖殿。兩旁均設有玉皇殿、斗姥殿、純陽殿、觀音殿、天師法壇、廣玄宮等作為善信祈福參拜之道場。 本觀弟子接受中西文化教育成長，但對天師道均有熱愛投誠及感受天師慈悲靈驗，俱體實踐修己渡人立德之精神，秉承師訓，勤修學道並積極參與內外道務，扶貧敬老。本觀弟子在葉文均觀主率領下遵循實踐修己渡人立德之 精神，秉承聖訓，弘道立德，普濟勸善。每年農曆五月份，均 舉行《教祖張道陵天師寳誕》慶賀一系列活動，如為社區市民 派發福米，舉行賀誕綜合文藝晚會活動;自 2012 年起，參與 東區譚公誕廟會巡遊，承壇譚公誕朝賀誦經科儀;每年積極參 與香港道教節活動......。

Cecilian Singers, The

The Cecilian Singers was founded in 1962 and it is one of Hong Kong’s oldest running mixed choirs. We sing a wide-ranging repertoire from madrigals to world music; by composers ancient and modern, both a capella and accompanied. Our programmes reflect our love of choral diversity and it is something we are known for. The choir’s original aim was to promote European choral music with a repertoire spanning at least five centuries. It started out predominantly as an a cappella group, performing both sacred and secular music. Over the years, the choir has also sung some larger works by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Handel, often with a small orchestra and soloists.
