郊友會乃一非牟利機構，成立於一九九二年，由現任或已退任之郊野公園及海岸公園委員會 (Country and Marine Parks Board) 委員和熱心人士組成。郊友會並無行政支出，所以收支全數用於推廣郊野活動的工作。該會以推動本港郊野公園的發展及鼓勵市民善用郊區自然資源為目的。郊友會 為郊野公園活動最為重要的非政府伙伴，於一九九五年，共贊助超過一千萬修建衛奕信徑。於千禧年間，郊野公園之友會協助多個企業於郊野公園建立「企業林」， 又於近年致力出版一系列「放眼大自然」的書籍，深受市民歡迎。在過去十年間，郊友會贊助郊野活動的經費共超過500萬。 郊野公園之友會致力協助郊野公園及海岸公園的工作，是其最重要的非政府伙伴。由於所有委員都是義務性質，並無行政支出，所以收入都可以全數用於推廣郊野公園及海岸公園的工作上。為此，我們得到大量有共同信念的專業人手以義務形式協助出版一系列的大自然刊物。我們亦誠邀與我們有共同信念的個人及機構一同參與，支持及贊助本會的活動。

Is a non-profit organization in Hong Kong dedicated to nature education. They operate two main initiatives: Heung She Natural School and Gaia Playgroup. Mission: Gaia Education's mission is to provide holistic education that fosters a deep connection with nature, cultivates curiosity, and encourages a sense of responsibility towards the environment. They aim to: - Connect children with nature: Provide opportunities for children to experience and learn from the natural world through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and experiential learning. - Cultivate a love for learning: Foster a lifelong love of learning by creating a stimulating and engaging environment where children can explore their interests and develop their potential. - Promote environmental awareness: Instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment and inspire children to become stewards of nature.

Annie Wong (機構創辦人) 所創立的傻媽流浪貓狗之家一直致力於絕育及安置流浪動物，特別屬於較弱勢的唐貓狗，因大眾關注度不足而導致成為被忽略的一群。 我們希望令大眾了解到香港流浪動物的困境，向大眾宣揚流浪動物與我們都是屬於社區的一份子，所以我們更加應該伸出援手幫助流浪動物，如由源頭做起: 幫流浪動物絕育, 相關政策及配套安置等等，最重要的是吸引更多人了解流浪動物，宣揚支持領養代替購買。 我們希望令大眾了解到香港流浪動物的困境，向大眾宣揚流浪動物與我們都是屬於社區的一份子，所以我們更加應該伸出援手幫助流浪動物，如由源頭做起: 幫流浪動物絕育, 相關政策及配套安置等等，最重要的是吸引更多人了解流浪動物，宣揚支持領養代替購買。 我們定期與多間公司及學校合作，當中包括義工活動, 分享講座, 參觀活動等等，令更多人了解到流浪動物的實況，從而喚醒大家對流浪動物的關注。 特別是學校相關的活動，可以令年輕的一群更直接地接觸相關議題的資訊，以生命影響生命。他們亦可透過網絡或生活中幫忙宣揚相關議題，增加整體大眾的關注度，令備受忽略的一群亦可得到關注。 感謝不少公司致力於參與義工活動，除了履行更多社會責任幫助弱勢，認同流浪動物亦是我們社區的一份子，亦令大眾更易接觸相關資訊。 我們懇請各位支持我們社區的一份子 ——— 流浪動物，它們都屬於弱勢的一群，特別需要我們的援助。大家除了可以身體力行參與義工活動，亦可捐助金錢或物資予我們，我們將會全數用於絕育、安置及醫療等各方面，為香港流浪動物出一分力。

Tai O Stray Cat Home

Our objectives include: - To promote cat adoption, help homeless cats to find homes; - To spay/neuter cats rather than killing; - To provide food to keep stray cats from going hungry; - To provide basic medical treatment to stray cats; - To promote the awareness of caring and protecting animals in the community. Challenge The problem of stray cats has never been taken seriously due to the lack of resources and ignorance by the government. With our mission and objectives, we need a lot of funding to provide medical care and neutering the stray cats, and to prevent them from starving. Solution Tai O Stray Cats Home helps stray cats by means of providing daily living support and neutering to control its population. It also provides proper care to rescued new born cats until they are adopted. Long-Term Impact We hope by our rescue effort and ongoing support, we can successfully raise the awareness in the community to love and respect animals, and to reduce the number of abandoned pets.

Green Council

The Green Council is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt charitable (Ref. No.: 91/6063) environmental stewardship organisation and certification body (Reg. No.: HKCAS-027) of Hong Kong established in 2000. A group of individuals from different sectors of industry and academics shared the vision to help build Hong Kong into a world-class green city for the future. They formed the Green Council with the aim of encouraging the industrial and commercial sectors to include environmental protection in their management and production processes. ​ With the motto of “Conservation begins with Education”, the Green Council is fully committed to provide continued education and training on sustainable procurement, environmental management, waste management, energy conservation, etc. 3 Primary Objectives 1. Raise public awareness for the need of a better environment 2. Encourage and improve environmental management and performance of local industries 3. Promote the image of Hong Kong as a city that gives high importance to environmental protection

Redress is a Hong Kong-based pioneering environmental charity working to educate and empower the fashion industry and consumers to reduce clothing’s negative environmental impact by shifting to circular solutions. Redress achieves this in a number of different ways largely driven by two pillars: waste prevention through educating fashion professionals, educators and the public; and waste transformation by providing consumer solutions for unwanted clothing through Get Redressed Month and Takeback programme. In 2021, Redress collected 48.1 tonnes of clothing through the Hong Kong Takeback programme, redistributing the clothing for reuse, resale and recycling and reducing textile waste.

Plastic Free Seas Limited

Plastic Free Seas (PFS) focuses on education to teach not only about the problems of plastic marine pollution but also the solutions people need to take on and push for to reduce the scourge of plastic polluting Hong Kong waters and beyond. To date PFS has worked in over 120 Hong Kong schools with an outreach of more than 33,000 students. PFS also initiates action campaigns at individual, community, corporate and government levels.

Zero Carbon Building

Hong Kong’s first zero carbon building, the CIC–Zero Carbon Park (“CIC-ZCP”), since its opening in 2012, acts as a test bed for state-of-the-art eco-building design and continually optimizing its technologies, also serves as an exhibition, education and information center. The CIC-ZCP raises awareness on the importance of green building design locally and internationally, and aspires to boost the public’s ecological value and living in low carbon lifestyle. With more than 200 species of flowers and trees at CIC-ZCP, as Hong Kong’s first urban native woodland, the area’s natural heartland, brings in birds and other animals start creating a very bio-diversified environment, to make it become a lush and vibrant sanctuary for visitors to relax. Most importantly, to create a paradigm shift towards sustainable living, and function as ‘green lungs’ for the high-density environment, breathing clean air and new life into Hong Kong. CIC-Zero Carbon Park (CIC-ZCP) is to serve as an exhibition centre, an education center and an information center for zero/low carbon building design and technologies, as well as promoting low carbon living in Hong Kong. It shall showcase the state-of-the-art eco-building design and technologies to the local and international construction industry. Also, it shall raise community awareness of low carbon living in Hong Kong and promote behavioral changes towards low carbon living. Moreover, it shall disseminate the latest information on low/zero carbon building technologies and share the smart city practices with industry stakeholders.

The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) is a non-profit, member-led organisation established in 2009 and has become a public body under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance since 2016. The HKGBC strives to promote the standard and development of sustainable buildings in Hong Kong. The HKGBC also aims to raise green building awareness by engaging the government, the industry and the public, and to develop practical solutions for Hong Kong’s unique, subtropical built environment of high-rise, high density urban area, leading Hong Kong to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and to become a world’s exemplar of green building development. Our passion for a sustainable built environment is the motivating force to achieve our goals. The Hong Kong Green Nature Union ( Hong Kong ), also called Great Nature Union in the past, simplify as GNU or HKGNU, is an organization which established by a group of youth and aims at preserve and promote our natural eco-environment, and we mainly focus on teenage and youth as our target. This organization is established since summer 1999, found in Hong Kong, and our committee members majority took part in a variety of outdoor activities or non-outdoor activities, different secondary school works, publishing newsletters or books, exploring the eco-environment and other gathering functions, etc. Except we having a number of experience and knowledge, also we having a deep spirit on eco-environment preservation and concern the human society development. Additional, there is a lot of issues about environment protection recently, the gradually damaged of the natural environment also makes us to set up this organization to contribute our earth.
