For the last 16 years, Blue Sky Healing Home was a small, private medical foster home in Beijing, CHINA. We helped orphans and children from poor families from all over China, receive the medical care and surgeries needed. Our home provided these children with a loving and clean environment to heal their wounds and nurture their physical capabilities. We provided the one-on-one attention and specialized care needed by the children that most orphanages simply do not have the manpower for. We have assisted many poor families who needed funds, direction and encouragement to help their children. THE MISSION To help orphans and children from poor families in need of medical care in China.

The Christian Conference of Asia began as the East Asia Christian Conference (EACC), which was constituted by a decision of churches, national councils of churches and Christian councils, whose representatives met at Prapat, Indonesia, in 1957. It was inaugurated at an assembly in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1959, under the theme Witnessing Together. In the light of changing circumstances, the 1973 assembly, meeting in Singapore, agreed to change the name to Christian Conference of Asia (CCA). The purpose statement of the CCA says that CCA exists as an organ and a forum of continuing cooperation among the churches and national Christian bodies in Asia, within the framework of the wider ecumenical movement, believing that the purpose of God for the church in Asia is life together in a common obedience of witness to the mission of God in the world. In order to be a member of the CCA, churches must “confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the scriptures and therefore seek to fulfill their common calling to the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit”. National councils or similar bodies joining the CCA must also approve this basis. The CCA strives for the unity of the church in Asia, joint action in mission, Asian contribution to Christian thought and worship, sharing and fellowship among the churches in Asia and beyond, effective Christian response to the challenges of the changing societies of Asia, relationships with people of other faiths in Asia, human dignity and care for the creation.

Objectives: - To introduce Buddhist teachings and to promote concepts of practising Buddhist teachings to the community of Hong Kong by adopting a contemporary, knowledgeable, rational, open-minded, simple, non-theistic, non-idol and non-sectarian attitude. It strives to promote the integration of Buddhist teachings into contemporary life. The Centre regularly organises courses on meditation and Buddhism that are open to the public. People of all walks of life are welcome to attend such courses. In addition, the Centre will also invite Buddhist Masters of different schools or Buddhists scholars to give their incisive enlightenment talks on various topics of Buddhist teaching.

Each year school children, businesses and the local community come together to donate gift boxes filled with essential, fun, and active items, to give to a child that would not normally receive a gift over the festive period. We work in collaboration with local, and a small number of overseas charities, to support the children and families who receive the boxes. None of what we do would be possible without the support of our volunteers, schools and sponsors, who support us both financially and in kind. In 2023 we delivered over 41,232 boxes to children, donated through 120 schools, 41 corporates and hundreds of individual volunteers.
