本會簡介 根據外國資料統計，約九成聾人父母的子女出生為健聽，其雙語、雙文化（手語及口語、聾人及健聽文化）的特點，往往被社會忽略，引致教育及福利配套不足，窒礙聾人子女的身心靈發展。聾人子女的英文簡稱為“CODA” (Children of Deaf Adults)，香港聾人子女協會是香港政府認可慈善機構，屬亞洲地區的第一個註冊CODA會，於2013年正式成立，旨在協助香港的CODA認知自己雙語、雙文化的獨特身份，學習成長、發展潛能，從而建立互助社群及積極的人生觀。CODA是聾人家庭的下一代，因此本會亦致力關注香港的聾人權益和手語政策，從教育、倡議、出版、學術研究等多方面入手，向公眾人士和不同持份者 (stakeholders) 推廣手語及聾人文化意識，協力締造聾健共融的社會。 ABOUT US According to statistics overseas, 90% of Children of Deaf Adults (CODA) are hearing. Naturally, CODAs are bilingual (of both sign and oral languages) and bicultural (of both hearing and non-hearing cultures). However, such an important aspect has largely been overlooked by the society. The education and welfare package for CODAs is far from adequate. The development of intellectual, physical and emotional health of CODAs has suffered as a result. CODA(HK) is the first of its kind in Asia. Established in 2013, its objectives are to help CODAs of Hong Kong understand and acknowledge their special identity as bilingual and bicultural, learn and develop potential skills, build a self-help community, and adopt positive outlooks of life. CODAs are the second generation of deaf people. We are therefore concerned about government policies of deaf welfare and sign language. Through education, advocacy, publication and academic research, we promote knowledge of sign language and deaf culture to the public and various stakeholders. 本堂成立于二零零零年一月一日,最初只有十多位弟兄姊妹,以家庭聚会开始,其后也曾借用屯门一教会星期六晚上作崇拜,主日则在元朗 市鎭公园举行聚会。蒙神的祝福带领,同年六月,教会正式注册为「香港基督教磐石教会」“The Christian Church on the Rock Hong Kong”,上帝亦为我们建立了第一个正式堂址,在元朗同乐街的旧式唐楼,只有一千多尺。虽然面积细小,但却有瓦遮头,不需再到处频 扑。简单的装修和用心的布置,成为一间别致的小教堂。两年后,于二零零二年六月,上帝赐给我们一个更大的地方,在元朗大马路的诚信 商业大厦十二楼,全层2250尺。主恩无限,实在而奇妙,主耶稣的工作从没止息!二零零八年六月,上帝再带领我们迁往九龙区的中心地 带,那里的交通四通八达,即是现时本堂的堂址,太子道西旺角城大厦四楼全层共三千多尺,还额外有一个近千尺的露台。 我们是一间没有宗派背景的独立基督教会。上帝赐给我们异象,广传福音,领人归主,建立门徒,建造坚实的教会。教会取名为磐石教会, 是建立在磐石上的意思,磐石就是主的道,圣经的话语。本堂著力于传福音,建立生命,活出见证,作真门徒,不做假信徒。

In recent years since possibly 2005, there has been a widespread sentiment amongst old boys that there is a need to assist boys who wish to pursue their dreams but cannot do so because of the lack of funds. It is ironic that while DBS is developing a super campus second to none in the territory, enhanced development of its boys may have been somehow overlooked. DSOBA decided to bravely step into this hiatus in 2009 and explore the idea of setting up a trust fund in aid of boys who may be in need of funds in the course of their pursuit of academic, musical or sporting excellence. At round about the same time, several old boys donated to DBS seed money to start the S.J. Lowcock Foundation (“the Foundation”) in honour of our ex-headmaster. The Foundation’s aim is to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students of DBS to enable them to continue with their tertiary education either locally or overseas. The foundation was initially managed by DBS and the seed money was already used up by 2010 when the CFL Trust was honoured with the responsibility to administer the Foundation from 2010 onwards. DSOBA quickly adopted the Foundation under its wings, which effectively becomes the first and flagship project under the CFL Trust.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) is the professional body for those engaged in various sectors of transport and logistics, including air, sea and land, for both passengers and freight transportation. The Chartered Institute of Transport (CIT) was formed in the United Kingdom in 1919 as the Institute of Transport and became a Chartered Institute in 1926. The Institute first set up the Hong Kong Branch in 1968 and it was upgraded to the Hong Kong Section in 1972. On 1 October 1991, the Hong Kong Section was upgraded to National Council status and renamed as the Chartered Institute of Transport in Hong Kong (CITHK). This change gave CITHK the authority to handle all Institute matters independently. 歷史 1966年 由曾霖芳牧師在香港創立 「海外神學院基督中心堂」。 1968年 「基督中心堂　九龍塘堂」成立。 1976年 「基督中心堂　佐敦堂」成立。 1985年 「基督中心堂　荃灣堂」成立。 1993年 「基督中心堂　旺角堂」成立。 1996年 「香港海外神學院」遷往美國加州聖荷西。 1997年 各堂轉為獨立註冊，並蒙神賜福，均有穩健的發展。 目標 本堂的異象和使命，教會一切聖工的設立和發展，都以耶穌基督於馬太福音二十八章十九至二十節的吩咐為目標： 「所以你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父子聖靈的名，給他們施洗； 凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守；我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」 現況 感謝神的恩眷，本堂聚會人數和地界得以不斷增長和擴展，現聚會人數包括成人及兒童約有六百多人，而面積約達八千多平方呎。 我們採用分齡牧養的方式，而牧養的重點乃敬拜生活、聖經教導、信徒相交、 信仰生活實踐及事奉裝備訓練等。 除了著重本地的福音工作外， 我們也學習積極差遣及支持不同的宣教士往外地宣揚福音， 現宣教的範圍已包括南美洲、非洲和歐洲等地。 同工 Audit Report 2020 - http://cccjor.ddns.net/bal/2021/Audit%20Report%202020
