HSS is a registered charitable organization in Hong Kong, functioning since 1978. And it lays emphasis on the building up of good character, self-discipline, self-confidence, self-reliance and a sense of social service in its members who are known as Swayamsevaks. It constantly maintains through its Swayamsevaks the ideals and values of life as cherished by Hindus. Through its numerous programs and activities, it fosters bonds of friendship, brotherly feelings and unity among all Hindus. In a nutshell, the whole field of HSS work is intimately connected with the Hindu society.

Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
