Make-A-Wish Hong Kong was registered in Hong Kong as a charity (registration number: 91/5366) in 1998 and became a member of Make-A-Wish Foundation International, the world’s largest wish-granting organization with 40 affiliates serving over 50 countries and territories nowadays. Collectively we have realized over 550,000 wishes worldwide since 1980. Our mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses aged between 3 and 17, in Hong Kong and Macau, to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. To date, Make-A-Wish Hong Kong has transformed over 2,300 children’s lives. We are dedicated to making every eligible child’s wish come true.

長洲婦女會於一九七七年成立，於一九九九年十一月成為政府認可的善慈機構，並於二零零一年三月八日開辦梁潔華婦女服務中心。隨著響應國際義工年，本會亦登記成為義工機構。直至現在，本會已有一千三百五十多名會員及組員，當中女性會員、組員佔約一千二百人，其餘為男性長者組員。 本會宗旨 本會以鼓勵更多姊妹參與社會，從而增進知識、服務社區，進一步提高婦女地位，維護婦女權益，聯絡本區婦女，促進婦女團結互助、提倡及舉辦文化、康樂、聯誼、福利等活動為宗旨。每年度本會舉辦多元化的社區活動及服務，參加總人次過萬人。

Hong Kong Seagull Scholarship was established by Mr. Lo Yuk Tong, Executive Advisor of The Toys Manufacturers' Association of HK. His idea originated during a visit to Gansu Hope School project activities in 1998.During his time there he heard that a university student had fainted in class and he learned that she had been selling her blood in order to pay for her studies. This touched Mr. Lo’s heart and on his return to Hong Kong he was determined he would do something to help students in similar situations. He set up “Seagulls” which is a voluntary organization to collect funds to provide grants for impoverished students in China to complete their studies and prepare them for a worthwhile place in society. Purpose: The aim of the "Seagull" group is intended to motivate students in poor areas to be like the seagulls bird, fearless with a strong spirit and constantly striving for ideals. Together with this the passing through of love for students with the action called "little candles" which brings warmth and light. The assisted student with ability can enjoy helping others by passing on the candlelight, a flame burning with flourishing spirit forever, so that more students can complete their studies.

香港神學院於1952年在香港創立，原名為「香港聖經學院」，為訓練傳道人，以回應香港人在戰後對福音的需求。最初發起人為中華傳道會前身─華僑遍傳福音會同工：余履真、顏東美、許蓁蓁、戎玉琴等人，贊助人及顧問是中華傳道會負責人宋德成牧師，當時特請中華傳道會前任監督周志禹牧師出任第一任院長，院址設在紅磡馬頭圍道。1960年開始搬到九龍塘金巴倫道17號現址（由中華傳道會借出）。由始至今，中華傳道會皆在經濟上和事工上支持學院的工作。 使命宣言 本院植根於香港，不分宗派，以福音信仰為根基，透過信仰與生活之整合、 全人生命塑造、個人恩賜之開展，訓練基督精兵， 於教會盡心牧養服事，在社會忠誠見證基督，回應時代多元挑戰。

Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation Limited

Funded by donations from local individuals and local companies, Sai Kung Stray Friends are a Hong Kong volunteer group who rescue abandoned, sick, injured and stray puppies/dogs, and extend the chance to fully recover through medical care, love and short-term sheltering until they find permanent families and homes. We currently have over 200 dogs at our Sai Kung kennel, they are all waiting for their forever homes. One of them could be perfect for you. It is so rewarding to know that a dog could have a better life because of you. Their love and gratitude will transform your life and teach you lessons about life that you never even expected. Our meals-on-wheels program delivers food and clean water to street dogs 365 days a year. We have a small group of volunteers who personally deliver food and water to the street dogs and make sure they have shelter and warmth. Group also desex, microchip and rabies vaccinate the dogs, who live happily in harmony with the local villages. We have earned a long-standing reputation in the local community. The charity has been running for over a decade under the leadership of our Chairman Narelle Pamuk and our kennel manager Kathy, assisted by a team of regular volunteers. Your support, whether be a donor, a sponsor, a kennel volunteer, a volunteer helping on the street selling soft toys, group fundraising or donating gifts to sell, it allows us to do what we do best: “helping dogs to have a better life”.
