Our Promises 1. We are responsible for the allocation and usage of the donated money and we will make sure that it is fully utilized on the appointed projects. Money collected for a special project will be spent specifically on the said project. 2. The administration of our organisation, and the touring expenses of our team members, are funded by the volunteers themselves; the donated money is not spent on such activities, unless specified by certain donors. Donors are welcomed to take take part in our activities (e.g. visiting, attending ceremonies to lay foundation for the school, attending the opening ceremony of the school, etc.) if they finance themselves. Range of Services Rebuild or expand the school buildings of Primary and Secondary schools in needy districts of China. Help students pay school fees and other necessary expenses. Students of primary, secondary, tertiary schools, including teachers' training schools and post-secondary vocational schools are all eligible. Sponsor teachers attending training programs in order to raise their skills; help poorly paid teachers solve practical problems in their daily life. Give financial aid to school-aged orphans to attend school and to families facing special difficulties so that they can attain financial independency.

Co-Founders of Wheel Power Challenge come from diverse walks of life, but share the same vision — to co-create an empathetic and barrier-free Hong Kong society. We believe experiential programs could challenge our stereotypes and bring about changes through our first-hand experiences of using wheelchairs to appreciate the community. We also believe each of us could contribute to the establishment of an inclusive society. To infuse a stream of “WheelPower 滾動力量” to the society: WheelPower = (Experience＋Explore＋Embrace) x Empathy Experience the characteristic ways of life of our community; Explore the environmental design of our society; Embrace the inherent beauty of our diversity. Since establishment, we have as organized 50+ experiential programs involving 1000+ participants to promote the message of social inclusion and barrier-free society. We have collaborated with a number of organizations, e.g. educational institutions, corporates, and NGOs for experiential programs or giving sharing on the concepts of “barrier-free society”, “accessibility”, and “social inclusion”. Our highlighted experiential programs currently include “Wheel We Meet? 滾動相遇”, “Wheel We Hike? 滾動上山“, and “Wheel To Beach 滾動落海”. We keep exploring different new possibilities of experiential programs for you all!

Storytaler is co-founded by Prof. Winnie Mak, Professor in CUHK Department of Psychology and Ms Amanda Li, Clinical Psychologist in 2015 and turned into a social enterprise in 2019. We aim to promote mental health and reduce psychiatric stigma. We believe we can all be a self-advocate and an advocate for others. We are a team of people with lived experience, clinical psychologists, people with psychology training, and the general public who have shared values and vision. We promote mental health and share stories on social media which is followed by over 40,000 audiences with over 2,000,000 organic reach. We also organize public exhibitions, storytelling days, seminars and workshops for the general public, corporates, schools and NGOs reaching a total of over 18,000 participants.

We focus on children's value education by providing creative storytelling activities, as stories encourage children to imagine and put themselves in others' shoes, which prepare them to face and address future difficulties. Also, reading can broaden children's horizons, nourish their minds, and build up a positive attitude, we, therefore, provide picture books borrowing service and digital reading resources to members. Afterschool development services combined with storytelling activities can also develop children's self-confidence and empathy, improve their communication skills as well as enhance their community engagement. Storytelling is always the best way to reach our second and third goals - to cultivate children's positive mindset and to embrace social inclusion.
