In recent years since possibly 2005, there has been a widespread sentiment amongst old boys that there is a need to assist boys who wish to pursue their dreams but cannot do so because of the lack of funds. It is ironic that while DBS is developing a super campus second to none in the territory, enhanced development of its boys may have been somehow overlooked. DSOBA decided to bravely step into this hiatus in 2009 and explore the idea of setting up a trust fund in aid of boys who may be in need of funds in the course of their pursuit of academic, musical or sporting excellence. At round about the same time, several old boys donated to DBS seed money to start the S.J. Lowcock Foundation (“the Foundation”) in honour of our ex-headmaster. The Foundation’s aim is to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students of DBS to enable them to continue with their tertiary education either locally or overseas. The foundation was initially managed by DBS and the seed money was already used up by 2010 when the CFL Trust was honoured with the responsibility to administer the Foundation from 2010 onwards. DSOBA quickly adopted the Foundation under its wings, which effectively becomes the first and flagship project under the CFL Trust.

To investigate the psychological processes of the struggles and puzzles in Christian religious/spiritual life and their applications in helping Christians to transcend their problems leading towards maturity instead of church/faith exit, and in bringing back ex- Christians. 4. To develop bible-oriented psychotherapy for Christians and non-Christians based on the wisdom of the bible on how to lead a healthy and abundant life, other than salvation. 5.To enrich the understanding of the bible with the understanding of the psychological nature of humans. 6. To develop scales for the measurement of characters or states related to the above objectives. 7. To introduce the proper nature of psychology to the church changing her negative views towards psychology. 8. To maintain and promote the spiritual growth of Christian psychologists who are members.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) is the professional body for those engaged in various sectors of transport and logistics, including air, sea and land, for both passengers and freight transportation. The Chartered Institute of Transport (CIT) was formed in the United Kingdom in 1919 as the Institute of Transport and became a Chartered Institute in 1926. The Institute first set up the Hong Kong Branch in 1968 and it was upgraded to the Hong Kong Section in 1972. On 1 October 1991, the Hong Kong Section was upgraded to National Council status and renamed as the Chartered Institute of Transport in Hong Kong (CITHK). This change gave CITHK the authority to handle all Institute matters independently. Mission & Objectives 'To Advance and Promote the Art and Science of Logistics and Transport' The CILT sets the highest standards of professional practice through education, a comprehensive qualifications framework, career experience, professional grades and continuing professional development.

The HKCCC, founded in 1926, is a registered non-profit-making Christian organization providing caring & social services in Ho Man Tin since 2005 by Grace Neibourhood Centre & Elderly Activity Centre.

本堂於1939年創會，建立之初正是日軍侵華時代，大量廣州及四邑內地難民逃難到香港，其中不少是中華基督教會會友，且具有長老會背景的。吳鴻新主任眼見信眾缺乏牧養的機會，他隨即四處向會友派信，發出主日崇拜的「宣言」，並遂於同年五月廿一日的下午由他親自帶領第一次崇拜，敬拜上主，建立團契，彼此牧養，共同事奉。期間會眾不斷增加，經歷多次搬遷及增堂， 最後決意在現有的堂址興建新堂，於1960年12月4日正式落成，並在12月11日舉行首次主日崇拜。
