早在19世紀末葉，英國差會—–倫敦傳道會已派宣教士來華傳道。1899年宣教士祈理信牧師和師母抵達廣州，於上西關西華路萬善里(後以此命名萬善堂)創立佈道所，先後有譚秉剛先生、梁偉持先生負責堂務。 不久地方不敷應用，遂於蘆荻西巷50號的舊庵堂園地，重新改建為禮拜堂，定名為中華基督教會萬善堂。1924年聖誕節舉行獻堂禮，1935年原職接生護士，其後獻身全職事奉的余博文姐妹擔任萬善堂女傳道一職，後由李胡秀珍姊妹接任。 31年李啟榮牧師被推舉出任中華基督教會東江區區牧，也是該會廣東協會東江區宗教教育幹事。萬善堂既屬於中華基督教會，李牧師須牧養萬善堂信徒。 33年春季李牧師就任堂牧，全心牧養萬善堂，他擅長全人關顧，既及靈魂，也及身體，受惠者眾，自此萬善堂日漸興旺，增長迅速。不但主日崇拜人數擠擁，而且開辦中小學及幼稚園、童光院(孤兒院)、即使在抗日年間，環境艱難，仍不斷贈醫藥、施粥飯、興學校、澤孤兒。 抗戰勝利，以至大陸政權易手，李牧師伉儷南來香港，萬善堂在廣州的聖工遂完成歷史責任，有待重現光彩。

It determines the school policy and major decisions of the school administration. The internal management is headed by the School-based Administration Committee. Chaired by the Headmaster, staff opinions and suggestions voiced at general staff meetings or departmental meetings are considered, discussed and fine-tuned at the regular meetings before they are recommended to the School Council for endorsement. Once endorsed, the School-based Administration Committee is responsible for executing such decisions with the assistance of the heads of departments and functional committees.

早在一九五零年代，香港浸信會的少年團夏令會有好幾年的大復興，神的靈感動好幾間浸信會的青年人起來組織成香港幾間「福音堂」，我們「平安福音堂」乃由吳主光弟兄聯同約十二名愛主的青年基督徒於一九六三年創立的。創立時、我們得到香港喜樂福音堂可敬的長者胡恩德先生，宣道會的李非吾牧師，並海外神學院的創辦人曾霖芳牧師等指導，因此、本教會的信仰與浸信會相同，教會路線卻屬於接近「弟兄會」背境之「獨立教會路線」，與香港喜樂福音堂同類。 本來在創立教會之時，神給我們的異象是向木屋區的貧苦大眾傳福音，我們教會也在香港九龍青山道尾之新圍村木屋區開始。過了十多年，因著神在一九七五年賜下大復興，我們的教會就從那一年開始大大增長，由一間堂增長至現在（一九九七年）已超過三十間分堂，會眾約五千之眾。

The Society for the Aid and Rehabilitation of Drug Abusers (SARDA) is established in 1961, is the largest provider of voluntary drug treatment and rehabilitation services in Hong Kong. SARDA adopts medical psycho-social counselling model, endeavours to provide free and diversified drug treatment and rehabilitation services to all drug abusers on a voluntary basis, regardless of age, gender, race and religion. SARDA comprises four residential drug treatment and rehabilitation centres, four social service centres and five halfway houses, which provide drug rehabilitation service. In addition, SARDA joins hands with Department of Health to provide counselling services in all methadone clinics. SARDA has gained numerous awards and recognition from the society.
