香港普明佛學會 乃 由已故 果通法師 及一群 有志為 佛教 服務 的青年 成立於 一九八一年。 現 為一 香港政府 註冊非牟利 慈善團體。 本會名稱 是取自《法華經》觀世音菩薩 普門品 的 「慧日破諸闇， 普明照世間」 一句的「普明」兩字， 意即「佛法普遍照耀世間」的意思。 本會 成立 的宗旨， 是 以理 入手， 把 正確的 佛教 義理 介紹 給 大眾， 從而 使 人們 真正 了解 佛法 及 消除 對 佛教 的誤解。 並 積極 實踐 釋迦牟尼佛 平等 利生 的 精神， 服務 社群， 以 建立 「人間佛教」 為 目標。 期望 將 佛教 積極 入世 的 一面 實踐 於 生活 中。 香港普明佛學會 的前身 是 教觀學會， 乃由 一群 佛教 青年 於 一九七八年 成立， 並 邀請 羅漢寺 督監 果通 法師 為 顧問， 教觀 學會 於 一九八零年 解散， 接著 籌辦 香港普明佛學會， 一九八一年 三月 成為 合法 團體。 由於 會務 不斷 發展， 因應 需求， 學會 於 一九八五年 轉為 註冊 有限公司， 於 一九八七年 三月， 更獲 政府 批准 為 註冊 免稅 慈善 團體。

明珠佛學社創辦於 1966 年，由明慧法師及一群弟子所建立，以宏揚原始佛教教義為宗旨。本社於 1968 年開辦夜間佛學進修班，1972 年正式開辦佛學初階班，為本港最早開辦佛學課程的佛學團體之一。四十多年來，本社開設佛學課程不輟，除固定周日上午的佛學初階班、佛學中級班、經論研習班之外，更不定期舉辦各類專題講座，禮請不同界域專業人士蒞臨主講。 明珠佛學社除設立佛學班以宏揚佛教教理之外，亦曾經與香港佛教聯合會合辦「佛教明珠學校」以推行小學教育；本社也曾提供多年的「中醫贈診」服務。此外，更出版「明珠佛學社佛學叢書」，其中包括《般若波羅蜜多心經釋義》、《金剛經發微》、《中觀論頌選釋》、《般若心經對破讀》、《維摩經句解釋義》、《明珠佛學初階》、《心經透網》及《大嶼山誌》等。此等書籍可於本港佛教書局及各大書局選購。 本社另更印製有《明慧法師墨寶紀念集》、《書墨因緣四十年》、《明珠佛學社四十周年紀念》、《向於捨》等紀念集及書籍，免費與各界人士結緣。

Bethune House is an agent for changing lives. We have pioneered the shelter services for migrant women workers, as well as a holistic approach in enabling them to become empowered. We create and implement programs to support their welfare when they are distressed, as well as support their psycho-social welfare and foster a sense of community. Unlike other shelters, we provide more than temporary shelter and provisions. We provide case and medical support, as well as education and training for skills improvement, and advocacy. We are concerned with the totality of the person’s welfare. This already distinguishes us from the rest.

Our headquarters is established in Hong Kong, with members from all over Asia, including Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Mainland China, Singapore, and Malaysia. We hope to include professionals from more countries in the near future. We adopt a threefold approach, combining service development, training, and research, with one enhancing the other. Through continuous development and cross-cultural collaboration efforts, our mission is to promote the identity of family therapy among Asian regions. Our vision is to create a platform for systemic thinkers and practitioners in Asia to share their perspectives and expertise in the development of family therapy to reflect the unique culture of each region in this part of the world.

Asia Pacific Network For Health Systems Strengthening Limited

Asia Pacific Network for Health Systems Strengthening (ANHSS) was launched in 2009 to satisfy the growing need for a platform for knowledge improvement and exchange in health systems strengthening in the Asia region. The health system reforms carried out by the countries in the region often demand reference to evidence-based successful policies and programmatic innovation. In parallel, the country institutions command an increasing role in the region for capacity building and knowledge dissemination. As a result, ANHSS was initially established as a consortium style regional network to support knowledge transfer and capacity building. In August 2016 ANHSS underwent incorporation with the support of USAID to expand and better serve the Health Systems Strengthening needs of the Asian Pacific region. The goal of ANHSS is to assist the governments in the region to share experiences and lessons and offer in-depth knowledge and practical skills training in the various areas of health systems strengthening. It currently includes twelve member institutions. The objectives of the Network are to: - Empower health policy makers with cutting-edge knowledge on health systems strengthening and help them close the gap between technical knowledge, policy design and implementation. - Form a platform where health system reform lessons can be disseminated and shared among Asian countries. - Build the capacity of national institutions to become centers of excellence (CoE) in knowledge dissemination, and providing policy assistance to their government and the region.

The main goal of the Theatre-in-Education (TIE) produced by our group is to enable students to "learn" through theater experience, such as social, historical and political issues, and encourage students to directly play through role-playing Participate in the show, not just sit and be an ordinary audience. Under the guidance of the acting instructor, students can naturally interact with the characters during the drama, ask questions and make decisions. We will choose themes from the courses or choose other educational topics.
